What is a good picture?

The most crucial part of your order, which is critical for the quality of the final pet portrait, is the quality of the image you upload. Let's go through the following tips and guidelines to ensure that your image is perfect:

  • Take or choose an existing photo that is taken in daylight or a well-lit room.
  • Use a high-quality smartphone or camera.
  • Ensure that your pet's entire face and neck are visible, without being hidden in shadows.
  • Avoid photos with excessive filters so that we can best recreate your pet's natural colors.
  • Make sure your pet is looking directly into the camera at eye level and facing forward. Other positions can work too, but note that your pet will be depicted in that position in the final portrait.

Not sure if your image will work?

Send your image to us (support@clementos.com), and we will get back to you. We often create portraits of pets that have passed away, so we understand that it's not always possible to follow all the above guidelines

Good:

✅ The pet is standing in front of the camera at eye level.

✅ The face and neck are clearly visible.

✅ Excellent lighting.

OK:

✅ Excellent lighting conditions.

✅ High-quality image.

⛔ The dog is not looking into the camera (This can still work, but keep in mind that the dog's position will be depicted in the final result).

BAD:

⛔ The face and neck are not sufficiently visible.

⛔ The dog does not stand out clearly enough in the image.
